Drake, AIA, who brings more than 40 years of project delivery, strategic planning and global experience on a variety of first-of-a-kind, one-of-a-kind, complex and technically challenging facility types, including research & development laboratories, high-containment BSL-3+4, clean rooms, high-tech manufacturing and other integrated facilities. Ken’s leadership has led to many award-wining designs, including multiple R&D Magazine, Lab-of-the-Year and AIA Design Excellence awards. As an expert in research & development (R&D) and high-tech environments, he is also skilled in assessing the re-birth for adaptive reuse of existing structures. Ken has also planned and designed corporate offices, data centers and conference-training facilities. Mr. Drake has also led the strategic planning and programming for major campus master plans.
Ken is an industry leader in identifying best-value delivery strategies for projects and has helped corporations, government agencies, universities, developers and private institutions realize successful and cost-effective solutions. Ken has worked and traveled in over 28 countries, for more than 60 clients, on over 120 projects and assignments in his career.
